About Me
I’m a student, pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering and Operation Analytics at the University of Arkansas. Set to graduate in the spring semester, class of 2028.
Experience
I’ve participated in leadership roles in Theta Tau - Upsilon Chapter, learned within a manufacturing company, and Volunteered in the NW Arkansas area.
Manhattan Steel Doors and Windows Co.
During the Fall 2025 Semester (August to December 2025), I worked under the guidance of manufacturing managers as an Industrial Engineering Intern. This internship was hands-on opportunity to apply my coursework in a real-world company. I would observe the manufacturing process to provide input, research, and development into process flows. My first project was to improve hardware storage. I reorganized, sorted, and accounted for all the excess hardware that’s been left in storage. The reorganized hardware was then logged in a storage tracking service that would track current stock, hardware allocation to jobs, hardware that had arrived, and consumable inventory levels. The implementation of the storage tracker accounted for different names and reference codes for the same product, allowing for easy searches for specific shop floor jargon and product codes. I also created the groundwork for a database on the fabrication of projects from that year. With that, I created control charts in R coding language to visualize fabrication efficiency, applied Western Electric Rules, and calculated estimated lead times and their variance.
Theta Tau
A Co-ed Professional Engineering Fraternity has been the backbone of my leadership growth while in college. I’ve participated in various smaller roles to gain a deeper understanding of the organization’s broader operations. Brotherhood chair, where I had to schedule, plan, and host events for 65 members. Parking focused on customer service skills, maintaining satisfaction with customers, and enforcing illegal parking. After building a reputation for my work, my opportunities expanded into larger roles within the organization. I spent a year and a half as an officer, starting as a Scribe and working my way up to President. As Scribe, I reworked the attendance and fines tracker, simplifying it for members and future Scribes. When I moved on to Vice-Regent, I managed 22 Different chairs, helping each chair achieve its goals either through advice or hands-on work. Also maintained a 15% budget cut while keeping quality a key focus. As Regent, I led an organization with around 60 active members. Oversaw chapter and officer operations to make sure goals, efficiency, and standards were met. Played a key role in the management of over $2 million in non-university-owned assets. Worked and resolved member conflicts following bylaws and PPM regulations. Led the planning and execution of a Regional Conference where we hosted members from 5 different campuses, along with a few National Executive Council members.
